This 90-minute class will draw from the fundamentals of Ashtanga yoga, a traditional, rejuvenating practice designed to help you build physical strength, emotional balance, and mental focus. Come reap the benefits of the Ashtanga method in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ashtanga is a traditional style of yoga developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the mid-twentieth century. Named after the eight limbs of yoga as laid out by Patanjali (asta ('eight') + anga ('limb')), Ashtanga yoga incorporates the essence of each of those limbs in one dynamic, flowing sequence of postures.
